The candidate has built a solid background in IT infrastructure and application support through several roles in enterprise and industrial environments. Early on, they worked closely with an IT manager in a mid‑size organization, providing both on‑site and remote Level 2 support during the early COVID period. Responsibilities included deploying and maintaining Windows and Microsoft 365 environments, user onboarding and migrations, basic server and network troubleshooting, backups, endpoint security checks, and early exposure to cloud migrations and virtualization using Hyper‑V and VMware. This phase helped clarify their professional interests, particularly around networks, systems, and infrastructure support, rather than pure development.

In 2022, the candidate moved into a more complex industrial setting, delivering Level 2–3 support in a factory environment with strict health and safety requirements. This role involved administering hybrid infrastructure components such as Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM, Intune, SQL Server, and supporting Windows, Linux, and macOS endpoints, as well as gaining exposure to OT networks and a different type of operational support. Later experiences included remote network support for international regions, application support within a cloud‑oriented context using multiple cloud providers, advanced SQL usage, ServiceNow, Agile ways of working, and CI/CD exposure. One of the biggest challenges was learning and supporting a business‑critical application from scratch in a foreign language. After project completion and an undesired shift toward programming, the candidate chose to move on. He is fluent in English and motivated to continue in roles spanning support, administration, networking, and application support analysis.
