A leading company in supply chain solutions is looking for a Purchaser (m/f/d) to reinforce their Procurement & Purchasing team.

Your new role

Prepare the strategy for all category management activities;
Lead the process of identifying new suppliers and managing the portfolio of current ones of all strategic categories of material;
Establish and maintain a supplier base strategy according to purchase categories strategy;
Support the operational purchasing requests for Materials, Equipments and Services;
Execute Purchase Orders and/or contract if required;
Support and assist in the supplier negotiation processes in the technical, financial and delivery aspects;
Collaborate with the various areas of the company, in order to ensure and promote compliance with the principles,procedures and rules to be followed in the purchasing processes;
Promote the continuous improvement process, often re-evaluating processes and working methods;
Execute the reporting of performance indicators, to provide the necessary information for decision making processes.

What you'll need to suceed

Higher education degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or another field relevant to the role (plus);
Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or category management roles;
Solid or specialized technical knowledge in purchasing processes and negotiation;
Experience with ERP systems (SAP is a plus);
Advanced skills in MS Office;
Fluency in English;
Planning and organizational skills;
Excellent time and priority management.
