Your New Role

As IT Infrastructure Manager, you will lead the internal systems and helpdesk team, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of the company’s IT landscape. You will be responsible for managing a team of six professionals, overseeing both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, and supporting the organization’s growth through robust and secure IT operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the helpdesk and systems team (6 people), ensuring high service quality and responsiveness.
  • Oversee and maintain the company’s private cloud infrastructure, while supporting the transition and expansion into public cloud (Azure).
  • Ensure the security and performance of the data center, including Active Directory, Wi-Fi, routing, SD-WAN, and firewalls.
  • Design and optimise distributed architectures aligned with business needs and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Understand and address the IT requirements of internal users across departments.
  • Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect cloud environments and internal systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align IT strategy with business goals.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, ideally in environments with complex architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of data center operations, networking (routing, SD-WAN), and security (firewalls, AD).
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (private and public), especially Azure (not mandatory but a plus).
  • Experience managing helpdesk and systems teams.
  • Ability to design and maintain distributed systems with a focus on scalability and security.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on technical skills and a generalist approach.
