Your new companyA multinational company in the IT sector is looking to recruit an HR & Office Manager (m/f/d) to set up its office and HR department in Lisbon.
Your new roleThis talent will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding. They will administer payroll processes in coordination with local payroll providers, oversee employee benefits, and ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies. Additionally, they will provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to the local team, and support employee transfers and relocation processes.
This person will also handle office management tasks such as procurement, vendor coordination, and facility maintenance.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for someone with 3–5 years of experience in HR and/or office management roles. Knowledge of Portuguese labor law and HR practices is essential. Experience in setting up HR structures in a new market or entity — including collaboration with third-party vendors and service providers — is a strong advantage. This talent must have hands-on experience with payroll, employee benefits, and HR systems. Fluency in English is required.
