Global pioneer in the aerospace industry is recruiting Head of Accounting (m/f/d).

Your new role
  • Closing operations
    • Monitoring of the monthly closing process
    • Booking of accruals and manual postings
    • Creation of assets in SAP
    • Verification of depreciation and payroll bookings
  • Treasury operations
    • Monitoring of accounts payable activities: invoice booking, payments, expense fees, dispute
    • Launch and follow payment campaigns
    • Bank account reconciliation
  • Controlling operations
    • Check of accuracy of balance sheet and income statement accounts
    • Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) statements and aging reports
    • Ensure tax compliance
    • Inventories: participate in assets and stocks inventories
    • Monitoring of subvention files
    • Contact with auditors
    • Ensure 4 eyes principle and proper SOD
  • Reporting
    • Provide consolidation file to mother company: P&L, BS and FCF
    • Tax compliance, ensure accuracy of following declarations
      • VAT periodic return
      • EU Sales/Services list (VAT recapitulative return)
      • Withholding taxes concerning freelancers, landlords and others (for resident and non-resident)
      • Stamp tax form to be paid
      • Tax form concerning the income paid and tax withheld on payments made to non-resident entities (Tax Form 30)
      • Monthly billing report (SAF-T Billing)
      • Regular advance payments, special payments on account and additional payments on account for corporate income tax (“CIT”) purposes
      • Bank of Portugal reporting related to cross-border transactions and balances (COPE)
      • Submission of the Intrastat form, based on input provided by logistics
      • Control of the tax obligations related with payroll
      • Corporate Income Tax return (“Modelo22”)
      • Annual Tax Return (“IES”)
      • Data collection to prepare the Tax File(“Dossier Fiscal”)

What you'll need to succeed
  • Degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Management or similar.
  • Experience (> 7 years) in Accounting area, preferably in industry
  • Certified Accountant
  • Fluency in English
