Shared Service Center | Accounting | General Ledger
We are currently recruiting for a new Shared Service Center looking to expand its team. The General Ledger Accountant will work for the European region, helping establish the financial and accounting procedures for the group.
Responsibilities:
Booking payroll settlements, monitoring and reconciliation of payroll GL accounts
Analyzing, controlling and reconciliation of accounting records in GL to source documents and subledgers
Reconcile accounts and inventory balances in the process of month closing
Setting provisions and accruals for the month-end closing
Preparation of statutory, financial statements
Intercompany reconciliation
Registration and reconciliation of fixed assets
Month closing tasks: revaluation of accounts, balance sheet review, preparation of month closing files
What you'll need to succeed:
2 years of experience in an Accounting role, ideally in a Shared Service Center
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Economics, Management or similar
Affinity with IFRS accounting standards
Knowledge of SAP is highly recommended
