About the company
Our client is a well‑established company that is looking for an experienced Buyer (m/f/d). This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and resilient professional who is ready to build processes from the ground up and bring structure and efficiency to a crucial business area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, structure, and manage the Purchasing Department.
  • Lead the procurement of direct and indirect production materials.
  • Implement supplier evaluation and performance‑assessment processes.
  • Work autonomously and proactively to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with finance, logistics, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Navigating and aligning purchasing activities with financial and logistics structures.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Degree in Engineering (preferred) or similar, enabling strong understanding of processes, products, raw materials, and equipment.
  • 5+ years of experience in purchasing.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Ability to implement structured supplier‑evaluation systems.
  • Dynamic and proactive mindset.
  • Resilient, able to defend ideas and influence decisions.
  • Team leadership skills, particularly in a developing or restructuring context.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
