Your new company
Our client is a Shared Service Center based in Lisbon. They are currently looking for two Accountants for a temporary position.

Your new role
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for:
• Recording day-to-day transactions, including bank charges, intercompany operations, taxes, payroll, acquisition/sale of securities, and fixed asset movements;
• Reviewing purchase and sales entries, mainly processed by the Back-Office team;
• Supporting the preparation of periodic closings (quarterly and annual);
• Applying internal procedures and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, while contributing to their continuous improvement;
• Assisting in the ERP accounting deployment across other countries/entities;
• Liaising with various stakeholders, both internal and external;
• Participating in statutory audits for entities within scope.

What you will need to succeed
• A minimum of 3 years of higher education in Accounting or Management;
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role or in auditing, ideally within an accounting firm;
• Solid knowledge of IFRS standards;
• Fluency in English is mandatory, and French is highly desirable.
