Your new RoleThe Corporate Secretary Services Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering Corporate Secretarial Services, with oversight of team performance, client portfolios, and compliance with applicable Company law and fund regulation requirements.
This role involves managing a team, while providing guidance and leadership, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery, and maintaining effective collaboration with internal stakeholders across Luxembourg and Portugal.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing a team and supporting team members in developing new skills and knowledge;
- Monitoring client budgets and team billability, as well as participating in internal projects;
- Managing a portfolio of clients with responsibility for all aspects of company law and fund regulation;
- Ensuring the timely, accurate, and high‑quality delivery of services to clients;
- Supervising and leading board meetings, including the review of minutes and action points;
- Reviewing legal documentation with critical analysis;
- Providing guidance to clients on corporate governance best practices;
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders;
- Monitoring key corporate events.
What you will need to succeed- Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, or a related subject (mandatory);
- Master’s Degree (would be a plus);
- +2 years of management experience, directly managing employees in a service delivery field;
- +5 years of experience in a Legal environment;
- Experience in a Fund Administration environment (would be a plus);
- Knowledge of laws and regulations, governing the UCITS sector;
- Proven leadership and ability to motivate and coach team members;
- Diligent and well‑organized person with a proactive mindset;
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to meet deadlines;
- Ability to manage projects, client budgets, and timelines effectively;
- Alignment with Arendt’s Pillars of Care, Social, Excellence, and Entrepreneurship;
- Good communication skills – Fluency in English (written and spoken) (mandatory).
