The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Internal Financial Auditor to join a dynamic international finance team in Porto.
This role is key to strengthening financial risk management and ensuring compliance with internal control frameworks across multiple markets.

Your New Role
As an Internal Financial Auditor, you will contribute to the efficiency of finance activities and controls, performing review missions, issuing recommendations, and supporting the deployment of internal control standards.
You will collaborate with international finance teams to optimize processes and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Performing check & challenge review missions and proposing action plans;
• Coordinating Finance second line of defense teams across international markets;
• Reviewing finance processes using a risk-based approach to identify and assess financial risks;
• Drafting and promoting internal control standards and governance memos;
• Ensuring compliance with internal Finance/Risk guidelines.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Degree in Audit, Accounting, or related field;
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in internal controls or financial audit (banking or insurance preferred);
• Strong understanding of audit techniques and risk-based approaches;
• Knowledge of IFRS, management accounting, and/or Solvency 2 is a plus;
• Fluency in French (B2/C1) and English (B1/B2).
