Operational Risk (m/f/d)

Your New Company
Our client is a multinational organisation with a strong presence in the financial sector. The Global Security & Risk team plays a key role in protecting the business from operational disruptions, including natural disasters such as earthquakes. The team is based in Lisbon or Porto and currently includes 4 members.

Your New Role
Reporting directly to the Area Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Global Security Framework & Transversal Activities
  • Promoting risk identification and supporting preventive/corrective actions.
  • Developing and enforcing normative documents and guidelines.
  • Designing and delivering training and awareness programmes.
  • Supporting a strong security and risk culture.
  • Enhancing reporting frameworks and contributing to relevant committees.
Business Continuity & Crisis Management
  • Acting as Alternate Business Continuity Officer and Crisis Officer.
  • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of the business continuity strategy.
  • Ensuring formalisation, follow-up and reporting in line with Group requirements.
  • Participating in continuity exercises and strategy testing.
Physical Security
  • Aligning physical security practices with internal guidelines and identified risks.
  • Advising and supporting the implementation of people and premises security measures.

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, Audit or similar.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Internal Control or Risk Management.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication, listening and learning abilities.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and work independently.
  • Comfortable in a multicultural environment.
  • Curious, adaptable and flexible.
