Your New Role
As the Legal & Compliance Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the company’s legal and compliance framework. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic guidance and leadership for legal and compliance matters, including the development and execution of the annual compliance plan.
- Preparing and delivering impactful presentations to the executive leadership team.
- Advising management on identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal and compliance risks, offering practical and well-informed solutions.
- Reviewing and enhancing internal policies and procedures, in coordination with the Group Compliance Department.
- Coordinating internal and external audit preparations.
- Managing whistleblower investigations and ensuring timely reporting to Group Compliance.
- Collaborating with Internal Audit, Legal, Finance, HR, Procurement, and Marketing to ensure cohesive compliance efforts.
- Conducting risk-based due diligence on third parties prior to engagement.
- Overseeing compliance training programs, ensuring all employees—especially new hires—complete mandatory modules such as the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery.
- Engaging with senior leadership to align legal and compliance initiatives with corporate strategy, while building strong internal and external relationships.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Law and admission to the Bar Association.
- 3–5 years of experience in legal, compliance, internal audit, or risk management—preferably in a multinational or regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of corporate compliance standards and international anti-bribery laws.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with confidence to engage executive leadership.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering effective compliance training.
- Experience in managing investigations and conducting third-party due diligence.
- Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
