Your New Role

We are seeking a skilled C++ Software Engineer to join our innovative @ILO project – Advanced Indoor Localisation and Operations . This initiative is focused on building a real-time digital twin of our transshipment warehouses, enhancing visibility and efficiency across our operations.

In this role, you will:

• Contribute to the development and evolution of our indoor localisation systems using C++
• Design and expand interfaces between our core systems and IoT devices via messaging/event-driven architectures and RESTful services
• Develop robust data management solutions using both relational and NoSQL databases
• Take ownership of sub-projects and drive them to successful completion

What You'll Need to Succeed

• A solid foundation in software engineering, ideally supported by a degree or equivalent training in IT
• Proficiency in C++ and experience working with Linux environments
• Familiarity with containerised development and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, as well as monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana (a plus)
• Strong communication skills in English
