Your New Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with deep expertise in SAP Ariba, SAP FICO, and Vertex to join our IT G&A systems team. This role plays a key part in delivering and evolving ERP solutions that support finance, procurement, and tax operations. You will lead solution design and implementation, working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to ensure systems are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, configuration, and rollout of SAP Ariba, SAP FICO, and Vertex solutions to support finance, procurement, and tax processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, define solution architecture, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert, providing guidance on system integration, best practices, and technical standards.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Ensure high system performance and reliability through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor internal and external technical teams, promoting Agile/Scrum methodologies and fostering a collaborative delivery culture.
  • Maintain clear documentation and enforce consistency across ERP implementations.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
  • Proven experience leading ERP projects and managing third-party vendors.
  • 8+ years of experience with SAP FICO, including financial accounting, controlling, and integration with other SAP modules.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Vertex or similar tax automation tools, including multi-jurisdictional tax configuration.
  • 5+ years of experience with SAP Ariba, particularly in indirect procurement, sourcing, and supplier management.
  • Solid troubleshooting and debugging skills across SAP and Vertex platforms.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, ideally with knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Relevant certifications in SAP FICO, SAP Ariba, or Vertex are highly desirable.
