Investment Associate - Venture Capital (m/f/d)

Our Venture Capital strategy focuses on investing in B2B SaaS and technology-driven companies with proven product-market fit, helping founders scale and innovate through capital, operational support, and strategic guidance.

Your new role

Deal Sourcing & Origination

Identify and evaluate promising early-stage startups, primarily in B2B SaaS and technology sectors
Conduct market research and sector mapping to uncover new investment opportunities Build and nurture relationships with founders, accelerators, and the venture ecosystem

Investment Analysis & Execution

Lead financial modeling, competitive analysis, and due diligence for potential investments
Prepare and present investment cases to the investment committee
Support negotiation and execution of investment transactions

Portfolio Support & Value Creation

Work hands-on with portfolio companies to support growth initiatives, go-to-market strategies, and operational improvements
Monitor portfolio performance and assist with reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Leverage the company network to help founders solve challenges in hiring, strategy, and scaling

Community Engagement

Represent the Company at industry events, demo days, and networking sessions
Help strengthen the Company presence in the Portuguese and European startup ecosystems

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business or a related field;
Fluency in English is mandatory.
2 to 4 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, consulting, big4 or a high growth startup environment;
Deep interest in technology, innovation, and early-stage startups
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
