Your new role
As Senior Internal Auditing Officer, you will be responsible for developing and executing the internal audit strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and promoting best practices in risk management and internal controls. You will lead audits across various domains including Finance, HR, Legal, Procurement, IT, and Operations, and present findings to senior governance bodies.

Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and executing risk-based internal audits- Preparing and presenting audit reports with actionable recommendations
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Advising on risk management and governance processes
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders and external auditors
- Promoting data integrity and security in collaboration with IT teams
What you'll need to succeed
- MSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field- Professional certification (CIA, CPA, CISA) is highly desirable
- Minimum 10 years of internal audit experience, with at least 5 in a leadership role
- Experience in scientific research or similar sectors is preferred
- Strong knowledge of audit standards and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office
