Your New Role

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead and contribute to the design, development, maintenance, and evolution of AI and Data Products. You will be a key technical point of contact, responsible for managing data projects, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality data solutions. Your role will involve designing and implementing data ingestion pipelines, optimising data storage, collaborating with data experts, and ensuring compliance with security standards

What You'll Need

• Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering.
• Experience: Over 5 years of experience in a data engineering role within large corporate organisations, particularly in a Data/AI environment and cloud ecosystem.
• Previous experience in management and technological leadership positions.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Databricks, PySpark, and DBT.
• Knowledge of Azure services (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Blob Storage) or any other cloud solutions.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data processing, and data storage formats.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and infrastructure as code.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
